Anyway out of the thousands of problems faced by us, I managed to fix the infinite loop for installing updates in windows 10 gracefully. Go to Apps and Features. Click on G Hub. Choose Modify. Choose Reinstall G Hub. Choose transfer settings if you want to transfer settings. It worked for me.
