Stromberg gives a good balance of offensive firepower & explosive resistance defense in PvP engagement.

The scramjet is fun but highly impractical and you'll rarely find yourself using it in a real scenario, deluxo is cool but slow and dies to almost anything. i'd go for the vigilante as it's the closest to a ruiner without all the downsides.
