All public beaches in Galveston are about the same in cleanliness. Galveston has had an especially heavy seaweed season in the early summer. By the 4th of July, it was slowing down. I did notice that the seaweed was being sort of bull-dozed in front of the San Luis, and left on the other beaches last week.That didn't stop us from swimming at several different beaches.
