I built a VATS commando build around an auto Quad railway. add gun fu and I'd clear the screen in one trigger pull. add in crits and you are plan brutal. downside is ammo both heavy and relatively inefficient to build. I just love this gun. I'm almost level 400, bloodied commando (non stealth) and I have a Railway Rifle for everything. - Bloodied Railway Rifle to get the kick of one shotting stuff. - Quad Railway Rifle for bosses. - Vampire Railway Rifle to mow down mobs without a sweat. Sure. Ammo is heavy. But I have room to spare. And besides being a badass gun, I loooove the choo choo. What a gun. Now my build is not the best build BUT...A Quad Railway Rifle is better than Bloodied or AA because they only hold 10 Railway Spikes vs 40 Railway Spikes for the Quad. Vampires or AA are preferred for the Enclave Plasma Rifle with Flamer mod. Quad only holds a few more rounds. And it's an up close weapon, so being bloodied is a bit of a detriment when using it.
