At elite schools, acceptance can be pretty arbitrary. So no, wait list or rejection from one school doesn't mean you won't get into another. That being said, something from your post really struck me: "I'd really feel unsatisfied if I didn't get accepted to a single one." This is a terrible way to approach college admissions.
