Maewing nursing.
I am (was) raising 10 baby Maewings and placed them by Momma Maewing who had a full inventory of meat. However, when I came back to them, the meat had spoiled BUT the Maewings were still alive. I then refilled the Maewing and went to Gen2 for a little while. When I came back to check on them, 2 of them starved but the other 8 made it to Juvenile.
I've read that increasing the nursing effectiveness on a maewing also increases food saturation (so each piece of meat gives more food to the baby), plus I've heard that meat spoils slower in their inventory than in your inventory - similar to a regular trough, maybe? If you mate them with mutator drakes will poop out a baby, not egg...i did not try the wyverns tho.Even though the Maewing is an omnivore (eats meat or berries), you MUST have the right food type for babies while the Maewing is nursing babies. For example, if you have the Maewing loaded down with berries, but it's nursing Rexes...the Rexes will starve without meat in the Maewing's inventory 😒Maewing Spawn Commands. Type: Genesis 2. Maewing question. thinking about taming a Maewing so i don’t have to pay attention to babies anymore. will the maewing take care of imprinting for me or will i still have to do that myself? From what I’ve done with the maewing and experience, it doesn’t auto imprint it just feeds babies, so you’ll still have to imprint them yourself. Angler, Tuso egg is not an egg you can pick up, so you cannot take water-creatures eggs out of the water. You have to have it secured and be there when it pops. Not sure if there is any difference with the Maewing's baby feeding neither, but my guess is there isnt. I have no idea how Maewing's work because I refused to give them anymore of my money for Genesis, but I would not be surprised if they copy and pasted the bad code as they are known to do that.
