yeah.. if the team made an official game mode which was basically wasteland.. with 3 teams like you said opfor blufor independent.. it would be awesome.. the arma 3 engine just doesnt feel the same.. the dayz engine is great and feels clunky kinda similar to arma 2.. it would be great nostalgia.. or hey just make an Arma 2 remastered …Wasteland had so many different ways to play which made it amazing. King of the Hill just mindless running into the same conflict zone over and over to hold a letter made me feel like a WWI cannon fodder soldier. I quit playing arma3 online (3.5k hours) when so many wasteland servers died or were replaced with koth. Wasteland was a fine wine.

After 8 years, the Arma 3 community is pretty set in their ways and mostly expect a military simulation experience of some form. Pretty much all of the total conversion mods from the Arma franchise that inspired standalone games (like Battle Royale and DayZ) have been decimated by those games so finding public servers supporting them is difficult.
