Second: It is definitely faster to do the story from 50-60 unless you are a tank or healer who is okay with literally just grinding dungeons relentlessly. Even then it’s not much faster to go that route.

If you are leveling an alt through the storyline, make sure you return to Oribos and swap to the Threads of Fate BEFORE hitting level 60! So I would recommend doing the storyline as far as you can go, and then do the Threads of fate by spamming dungeons during the few levels that are left.
